Peter comes from a sheep farm in New Zealand. He left his home and spent a decade traveling the world, followed by ten years as an avocado orchardist, before starting an academic career and becoming a University lecturer.
One day, he attended a meeting at the University and looked out of the window. What he saw out there was 'raw' nature and the 'real' world. Then he turned to his colleagues and said: "You’ve got to live this stuff, not just write about it." - He then left his career, possessions, and friends behind to live a 'raw and real' life. He went to see many countries, and walked across the whole of India. Here, he met Miriam, who also wanted to live a 'raw and real' life.
So they went back to New Zealand to live there in the wilderness of the mountains: Together they adopted a life of simplicity and self-reliance. With minimal gear – a backpack, tent, and bow and arrow – they lived off the land for seven years!
Peter walks his talk. He lives and experiences the principles of the 'Law of Being' every day: He lives a fulfilling and rich life, emphasizing the presence in the moment. He explains how personal freedom creates peace of mind and harmony for all beings. Ultimately, this has the potential to lead to an entirely peaceful and caring world.
